Hatha Yoga
This class offers options for the experienced beginner as well as the seasoned practitioner. Postures are practiced to align, strengthen, and create flexibility in the body. These postures are practiced at a slower pace than a vinyasa class, and postures are held for longer periods of time. Through repetition of the basic poses, you will able to build more complex poses. During asana practice, several variations or options are presented to allow each student to experience a balance between feeling challenged, physically and mentally and feeling at ease. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated.
Ashtanga Yoga Modified Primary Series
Widely considered to be a modern version of classical Indian yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa practice is a set sequence and opens with some repetitions of Surya Namaskar or sun salutes; followed by standing, seated and finishing sequences in a predetermined order. This practice will take the time to really break down the poses, offering variations that make the practice accessible for many different body types. This sequence is cleansing and toning for the body, mind and senses.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow, still style of yoga that enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support you.. The main focus of Restorative Yoga is that by relaxing in poses, with the aid of props, without strain or pain, we can achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Come unwind, destress, and dive into deep relaxation in this class!
Gentle Yoga
This class is a gentler style of Vinyasa yoga and is great for those who are new to yoga, those who are interested in slowing down and those interested in a gentle practice. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. This class will also include breath work, meditation and relaxation. Emphasis is placed on releasing tension in the body and mind, connecting with the breath, and helping students find a deep sense of calm. This class is appropriate for all levels.
Chairs will be available if you'd prefer to practice this class using a chair for support.
The room is gently warmed to 75 degrees.
Aerial Yoga
In this fun class, instead of practicing yoga poses on a mat, aerial yoga utilizes a silk hammock or sling that is suspended from the ceiling to practice those same movements. The purpose of the hammock is to provide support through your yoga flow, while also improving strength, flexibility and range of motion..
All levels welcome!
Hot Vinyasa Yoga
In this yoga class expect a practice that links the breath with flowing movements, connecting to an intention, sun salutations, long holds, deep breathing and relaxation. This practice builds strength, tones, detoxifies and calms. Vinyasa styles can vary depending on the teacher, modifications and variations are offered for all bodies, levels and abilities, and this class is open to students of all levels. Room is heated to 80-85 degrees.
Awaken Slow Flow
This gentle slow flow class focuses on flexibility, reducing stress, inward exploration, and connection to your own inner feminine energy.
Each week’s class will have a theme based on mythology, mysticism, or yogic philosophy with a discussion on the topic, essential oils, and a matching playlist.
In this class expect slow-flowing movements, long holds, breath work, discussion, essential oils, meditation, and relaxation.
Early Vinyasa Flow
This class unites your breath with your body offering a variety of poses accessible to all levels of yoga practitioners. Classes will include building strength in the core, balance in the body, as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion. Calm your mind, feel alive and revived to begin your day.
Yin Yoga
In this slow-paced class, low to the earth postures are held from 45 seconds up to a few minutes at a time. A more meditative approach to yoga, its goals are awareness of inner peace and to target the connective tissues of the body (tendons, ligaments and bones) to facilitate deep release and lengthening. This practice is a wonderful way to add balance to a more vigorous form of yoga or any yang style exercise or life, reduce stress, increase flexibility, boost circulation, sleep better and improve health all around! This is a great class for both beginners and the advanced student! Stretch, relax, and build inner awareness. Modifications and variations are offered to help you experience the benefits of the postures in your unique body.
Beginners yoga
This Beginners Yoga class will teach you the basics of yoga, how to consciously connect breath-body-mind, and help you:
increase strength and flexibility, reduce stress and lower blood pressure, improve balance, improve mood and sleep, and increase pain-free range of motion
Each class will focus on: standing, seated and supine postures, safe body alignment and modifications, breath awareness and basic breathing techniques, relaxation techniques, simple meditation, setting intentions
Come exactly as you are. This is a perfect class for those who have never tried yoga, are new to yoga or want to revisit the basics. All props are provided, and questions are encouraged.
Studio warmed to 75 degrees.
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is a physical practice appropriate to all levels, including beginners.
Class begins by tuning in to your own inner guide and creating connection. Followed by a set kriya or specific action. This may look like physical postures, breathwork, movement, mudra, mantra, music, mediation and deep relaxation. With each class there is an added emphasis on consciousness and activating energy centers throughout the body with intention. Cleansing, Clearing, Healing. Followed by a juicy sound bath in savasana.
Kundalini is the Yoga of Awareness. It is a practice where you can get to know yourself beyond the physical form, beyond judgement, and expectations.
Cultivating a sense of clarity, calmness, and regulation among the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual layers of your being.
“Had my first class here and it's a beautiful and welcoming space. Can't wait to go back!”
